About the role

Nurtured Paediatrics is a neuro-affirming paediatric mobile speech and occupational therapy practice across Adelaide. We specialise in assessment and ongoing early intervention support to children in home, education and community settings. You will work with children and families in their natural environments, predominantly in the early years (0-9) however also currently servicing clients up to the age of 18. You will have access to relevant assessment and therapy resources and will provide both assessments and therapy to children and their families. The majority of admin is completed from the comfort of your home, cafe or library allowing for flexibility and autonomy. You will meet weekly at community locations as a team to connect and collaborate.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide assessments and therapy to children and their families in home, education and community settings

  • Work with children with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, developmental delay, intellectual disability, ADHD, hard of hearing/deafness, low vision/blindness and other diagnoses

  • Deliver neurodiversity-affirming and evidenced-based services that are holistic and family-focused

  • Collaborate regularly with the team, both in-person and virtually

  • Participate in weekly team meetings at community locations

  • Attend quarterly team days that include external and internal PD presentations

About you

  • SPA membership for speech applicants / AHPRA registration for OT applicants

  • Department for Human Services Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply)

  • Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect certificate (or willingness to complete)

  • Driver's license with your own vehicle

  • Kind-hearted, dynamic and holistic therapist

  • Open minded and reflective practitioner who loves to learn
